Lead to Succeed – Coaching that moves you forward — on your own terms

Lead to Succeed

A free 2-month coaching programme for young sustainability advocates in The Hague.

Personal coaching • Mental wellbeing support • Small peer community

Young sustainability advocates often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unheard — even when your initiative matters deeply.

Lead to Succeed gives you personalised coaching and a community that helps you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Is this for you?

Lead to Succeed is for you if you’re:

☑ 18–30 and living in Den Haag / Haaglanden
☑ Working on a sustainability initiative
☑ Focused on influencing decisions or shifting mindsets
☑ Creating impact with or without a perfect plan
☑ Lacking access to support or coaching
☑ Struggling with communication, stress, or overwhelm

You’re building something important — an initiative that pushes for climate justice, drives sustainability forward, or strengthens your community from the ground up. But doing it alone is hard.

Lead to Succeed offers tailored one-on-one coaching and peer support to help you take meaningful next steps. You’ll develop key skills in communication and wellbeing — while staying true to your values.

Who is Lead to Succeed for?

Are you trying to create change — but feel stuck or unsure what to do next?

Lead to Succeed is for emerging sustainability advocates aged 18–30, living in Den Haag or the Haaglanden region (see the full list of municipalities here), who are:

  • Pushing for change in their local environment: schools, cities, communities, collectives;
  • Working through student groups, youth organisations, or grassroots action — or on their own;
  • Lacking access to professional support, coaching, or development;
  • Focused on advocacy: shifting mindsets, influencing decisions, or holding power to account (Not delivering solutions or launching social businesses).

You don’t need a perfect plan — just a clear drive to make an impact.

What will I gain?

You’ll leave with real progress on your initiative — and a clearer, more confident path ahead.

Depending on your needs, you’ll strengthen skills in:

  • Effective Communication: Speak with clarity, navigate tough conversations, engage stakeholders
  • Mental Wellbeing: Set boundaries, manage stress, stay resilient in your role

You’ll also connect with a small peer group that uplifts, challenges, and grows with you.

How does it work?

Over two months, you’ll take part in:

  • Two online group sessions (kickoff + closing)
  • Three personalised one-on-one coaching sessions tailored to your context, your pace, and your challenges
  • Peer support throughout — from the cohort and our coaching team

You’ll join a cohort of 5 changemakers working on diverse sustainability initiatives — from plant-based policy campaigns to local transport advocacy. Together, you’ll inspire, challenge and uplift each other.

How much does it cost?

We work with a voluntary solidarity fee: you can feel free to contribute between €1 and €100 for your participation in the programme, based on what's fair for you.

This contribution is optional and does not in any way affect your selection process. If admitted, you’ll receive all details to freely decide your contribution.

How is this programme different from others?

Most youth programmes focus on finding your passion, launching a startup, or scaling a solution. Lead to Succeed is different. It’s built for young advocates working to shift mindsets, influence decisions, and push for systemic change — often without support or resources.

Here’s what sets it apart:

  • It’s about advocacy, not entrepreneurship. No business plan or scalable solution required — just a drive to create impact.
  • You get personalised coaching, tailored to your context and initiative. No one-size-fits-all workshops.
  • Wellbeing is core. Sustainable changemaking means setting boundaries and building resilience — not just pushing harder.
  • It’s a community, not a competition. You’ll grow alongside peers who uplift and inspire each other.
